Description: It is an original engraved map in great shape with a dark impression on a bright high cotton page. It is from an 1844 edition of Malte-Brun System of Geography, published by Samuel Walker in Boston, 1844. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. The fine print caption along the bottom reads "Boston, Published by Samuel Walker." Also shown are Equador, Ecuador, New Granada or Columbia, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, La Plata or Argentina, Chile, Patagonia, Uruguay, Paraguay, Panama, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, the Amazon, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Lima, Santiago and other places.
Size: The print image measures approximately 7 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches on a 9 by 11" page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: It is in Excellent condition for its age printed on a bright high cotton page. No defects to mention. It is a beautiful print in great condition that will frame up nicely. Disregard the pinkish tint of the pics, the actual print is much better.
