Offered here is a very nice 1848 large cent in very good condition.  The 2 x 2 it is in states it is the N-12 variety which is R-5 but I'm not expert enough to tell so you judge.  The coin is a nice even dark brown.  The specks on the scans are from my scanner and not the coin.

I gladly accept returns for a full refund.  Just let me know within seven days of receipt that you wish to return the item.  When I receive the item back in the same condition as I sent it, I will refund your full bid price and postage costs.  Return postage is on the buyer.

I will ship international.  Non-US bidders please contact me for actual postage costs.
