Considering this Bible is 160 years old, it is in very good conditon with the majority of wear being on the spine. The pages are not torn or yellowed and the tissue paper protecting the illustrations is still intact. This is a heavy, large book with brown marbled end papers. it is 1366 pages long. It weighs about 11 pounds and is about 3-1/2 inches thick. It is leather hardcover with gold embossing on the front and spine. There are black and white etchings throughout as well as a fold out map of the Holy Land. I have taken a picture of the Botterill family register with entries from the mid 1800's.
This is a fantastic Bible for a collecter of antique books and I am starting it at about 1/2 the price of most online antique book stores. Please let me know if you have any questions.
