1850-60's Civil War Era Snare Drum with Tack Design and "_ _ _ _ BAND" This is a Civil War era Snare Drum with a Tack design and a painted ribbon with two words painted within the ribbon. I can not make out the first word, but the 2nd word is "BAND". There is no makers marks or label that I can find and this drum is in unrestored condition. I'll let my photos tell the rest of the story.
