Thick textured pale endpapers; page edges are red. Leaf before illustrated title half inch short and chipped at fore edge with ink inscription at top fore corner: Isabella W. Norree. Illustrated title is damp stained at fore corners, with inch tear in tail joint area; verso top and tail near joint tape reinforced. Binding is tight, no loose or missing pages; a few minor edge chips and creases. Leaves after title have no significant foxing, fading or offset. U. S.
