A nice ex-atlas map from a Berghaus atlas and printed in Golgau, Germany by Carl Flemming. 12 x 15 inches (30 x 8 cm). Lithograph with original outline color. VG- with a few stains in the lower margins, all stopping short of the lower border. Note:Second image is a scan and more accurately depicts the color and condition of the map.

Does not photograph well, but in person there is the usual German attention to detail and high quality of lithography. Hundreds of place names and geographic features noted. Surrounding areas, including Russian America, in black & white. Indian tribes noted.
