This 1853 Braided Hair Large Cent grades AU-58++, it has just the slightest trace of rub... many times coins like this get graded MS-62, even by the major grading services. This coin is as Nice and Original as you will ever find a Large Cent. It has the perfect choice natural antique medium chocolate brown color... the never messed with look. The surfaces are also completely flawless with no negatives of any kind what so ever. This really is a coin with tons of eye appeal, finding examples this nice is very tough to do. Also for those interested, this coin has a raised dot below the 85 in the date right by the rim and the 3 in the date is repunched. It is a very interesting coin also.
