1855 US Survey Map - Minnesota and Wisconsin Roads

1.This stunning original map engraving is hand colored. It is noteworthy because of its precise engraving, as well as for its size and detail. The map is divided into surveyed townships and includes notes as to whether the field notes of the survey have been transcribed and/or recorded, township plats recorded and proposed new surveys. The river system is shown as well as a number of early surveyor's features. An essential map for collectors. 

2. The map is in very good condition considering the age of the map.  The overall size of the map sheet is approximately 9 inches by 6 inches.   The map is far more beautiful than my pictures show. This map will look wonderful when matted and framed and will be a great addition to your collection.

All sales are final so bid carefully and ask any questions prior to the end of the auction. I ship these rolled and in strong reinforced heavy tubes. Buyer will pay shipping and handling charges of $6.00 for the US. Insurance starts at $6.00.  I will combine the shipping charges if you win more than one item.  All US shipments are shipped with USPS Delivery Confirmation.

International bidders:
