13 x 10 inch BW electrotype chart from the 1856 Annual Report of the Superintendent of the US Coast Survey. Folding, as issued. Shows outline of the city with streets and buildings. Some coastline topography, but this is a reconnaissance, so detail is limited. Note lower left discussing the soundings and tides.
Overall VG- with some browning along the folds. Fold intersection reinforced verso with conservation tape. Otherwise a clean copy. Wide margins all sides. Original, not a reproduction
