1860/61 Johnson & Browning Map of Texas

         A fine 1860 / 1861 double page map of Texas from Johnson and Browning's first family atlas. The map shows three insets,the northern part of the state , plan of Sabine Lake and Galveston Bay. This is a beautiful hand colored map on thick supple paper. The condition is very good you will find very minor toning along the papers edge and a small half inch closed tear in the top left margin, it does not extend into the image. The map measures approximately 26-3/4" x  18"
