DATE MADE: 1861... From the rare Colton's General Atlas of the World printed in 1861. There is even an older copyright date printed right on the map itself reading as follows : Entered According to Act of Congress in the Year 1855 by J.H. Colton & Co. in the Clerk's Office of the District Court for the Southern District of New York".
