1861 State of Florida Obsolete $20 Criswell 4 Bill Note

The CIVIL WAR era had arrived !! The note is handsigned and dated OCTOBER 10TH, 1861 !! This note is listed in HUGH SHULL'S A GUIDE TO SOUTHERN STATES CURRENCY as CRISWELL 4 with a 7 RARITY INDEX meaning there is a SURVIVING POPULATION of only 101-400 notes in all grades !! Bill is worn and is lightly stained !! There are folds and some chips along the border, most significantly at each of the top corners !! Two very small pin holes were noted and there is a TWO (2) INCH tear from beneath the XX of the top left corner extending horizontally. No tape repairs !! But please view the scans, judge for yourself and then bid accordingly !!
