Fine Design Civil War Georgia From Savannah Georgia From 1862

This is a very attractive original 1862 dated 50 cent note from the Bank of the State of Georgia. It was issued from Savannah, Georgia in December of 1862 and is so dated along the bottom of the note. This note has a simple but effective design. On the top of the note it has the bold print of “The Bank of the State of Georgia”. The note is in circulated condition that has a very pleasing look. This pattern of note was hand signed and is correctly unnumbered. . It measures approximately 5-1/4th inches by 2-5/8ths inches in overall size. The note comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation.
 

 The back of the note has an old piece of display tape remaining that is mentioned for exactness. Please bid accordingly!
