$5 Confederate States of America note dated 1863.

This CSA note is listed as T-60 (Criswell) and is stamped NOVEMBER, 1863 in red.  The central vignette is the Virginia State Capital at Richmond and a bust of CSA cabinet member, Memminger at the lower right.  It has a fancy blue reverse.  The uncirculated original paper is crisp and thin with a few small pinholes.  It is COC (Cut Out Cancel) in the signatures as shown.  The lower margin shows the variety as Engraved by Keatinge & Ball, Columbia, S.C. and Lithog'd by Evans & Cogswell.  Nice collectable 1863 note with a pleasing look.

The note will be shipped securely packaged and insured.
