Here is a genuine Civil War era Confederate States of America $5 note, issued at Richmond, February 17, 1864. Features central vignette of  Confederate Capitol at Richmond. Portrait of Christopher Memminger, Confederate Secretary of the Treasury, at right. Back is blue. Hand signed and numbered by Confederate officials for Register and for Treasurer.

Very nice condition with no tears, writing or problems. A wonderful souvenir of the War Between the States! As I have several of these, you will receive a note as nice or better than the one pictured; notes will have different signatures. I have sold quite a few of these to very happy buyers; please check my feedback and buy with confidence!
