Without my hubby to work coin with, frankly, I do not wish to continue Charlie Bear's and we will be selling thousands of coins beginning NOW! WATCH OUR LISTINGS!  The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this 4 Centesimos coin from Paraguay, issued in 1870.  Solid copper coin with just normal, even light trace of wear for the extra fine grade. Very pretty natural even somewhat glossy brown color and terrific bright eye appeal. Minimal marks considering issue and age. Obverse depicts five-pointed star within wreath and origin.. Reverse large numeral "4" value within circle, centesimos above, date below, with name SHAW to right of date. This is a wonderful example from 19th Century Paraguay for any South America or World collection. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
