1870's SPRING BEAUTY PATCHWORK QUILT TOP

 This crisp, cotton spring beauty quilt top is a graphic, vibrant in color and visual vintage beauty, and is all hand pieced and hand sewn. This quilt is made with fabrics from the 1870's. It measures a generous 83" X 83" and is in very good unwashed condition, and no wear, no rips, no fabric splitting or fading, and with the occasional scattered tiny, faint brown old age spot that will come out in this one's first wash. Some of the stitches need to be redone only on the edges. The stitching throughout are at 7 stitches per inch. The stitches are precise and consistent.This well-executed vintage classic in outstanding condition has everything going for it! This quilt top is a wonderful sewn together work of art. The quilter put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt a great visual look.
