1872 OIL ON CANVAS – J.H. BRANDT - This oil on canvas is by Johannes H. Brandt (1850 - 1926), well listed Danish artist with auction results to almost $62,000. This painting is signed and dated 1879, measures 17” x 13 ½”, has been cleaned and is in good condition with no problems. The oil painting depicts an evening scene with a young woman walking on a small path next to a pond with ducks. Brandt is a master painter with over 155 lots having sold at auction.
