1876/1976 University Of Oregon Centennial Cookbook ( 1981 Edition #001821 ), University of Oregon, Mothers Club, 1876 to 1976. This very large, heavy cook book, being 316 pages, is just stuffed full of old, new and unusual recipes. In excellent ++condition with just a tad bit of soiling on top corner of cover. According to the Introduction the University of Oregon Mothers Club was founded May 11, 1929 with the encouragement of Dr. Arnold Bennett Hall, president of the University. Mrs. Walter M. Cook, served as the club's first president, the club is still in operation today and specializes in activities to offer scholarship funds to students. Not only is it a must~have recipe book, but a historical collectable from the University of Oregon.
