1877 Apple Cider Press Wine Grape Fruit Grinder Baskets

This is a rare antique 1877 "Whitman's Americus" apple/fruit press manufactured out of St. Louis. It is marked "MEDIUM 73 TRADEMARK" with a face on the middle of the front, and is in working condition. It is also marked "PAT ~ JAN 2, 1872 ~ NOV 19, 72 ~ REIS ~ MAY 26, 74 ~ JULY 21, 74 ~ JUNE 6, 76 ~ 26.77 ~ 78" (as shown in the pictures). It is 49" tall, 34" from front to back, and 25 1/2" from side to side. It has 2 baskets that are 12" deep and 13 1/2" in diameter. The hopper is 6" tall, 15" from front to back, and 14" from side to side. Many of the other parts are numbered. The wood frame is loose and needs tightened. ls
