Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to offer this week, from an outstanding private medical collection, a very rare antique c.1880's Apothecary Pharmacy Bottle in exquisite clear crystal glass. The bottle is precisely hand-blown and features faceted octagonal stopper.   The sign is hand-painted and label is porcelain over glass enameled. Highly decorative frame is typical for mid-19th century. Marked H.ST. WIEN on bottom.

The bottle is published in Hermann Steinbuch Wien general price catalog for apothecary equipment from 1897. We are selling only the bottle on this auction, the additional photos from catalog pages are used only to confirm origin of the bottle.
 

The bottle is in excellent, no chips no cracks.

The bottle would make a stunning accent piece of early apothecary history in your old drug-store!
