You are bidding on a gorgeous Frosty Proof Like Uncirculated MS-65PL 1880 S Morgan Dollar with Hot 50 VAM 11 (0/9 Overdate) I-4 very high interest and R-3 rarity scarce variety. The Hot 50 Vam 11 is a very interesting and is a very desirable variety to collectors, and in MS-65PL proof like grade is very difficult variety to find. There are a total of 56 Proof like and Proof Vam 11 varieties in all grades making this coin very rare and very difficult to find in this proof like quality. As the grade and quality goes up, so does the rarity of the vam. This 1880 S Morgan Dollar offer a gorgeous frosty luster, mirror finish, sharp details, superior eye appeal, Hot 50 Vam 11, and will make an outstanding coin and vam variety to add to your collection. Coin Grade: This Morgan Dollar is Proof Like Uncirculated MS-65PL grade with a gorgeous frosty luster, mirror finish, gorgeous contrast, very sharp and clear details, above average strike, very full hairline, very full breast feathers. There are very few marks, no rim dings or dents, sharp and clear lettering and date, superior eye appeal, and very desirable difficult to find Proof like MS-65 Hot 50 Vam 11 (0/9 Overdate) variety. Vam Description: 1880-S Hot 50 VAM-11 (0/9 Overdate) Obverse III2 7 ∙ Reverse C3f (0/9) (184) I-4 very high interest and R-3 scarce variety. The obverse III2 7 there is metal with polishing marks in the remains of the 9 within the top of the opening in 0 of the date. There is a bulge on the outside of the 0 at 10 o'clock. The top loop of the second 8 has a few dots of metal on the right outside of lower loop. The 1 is doubled on right side of shaft and below upper crossbar. The second 8 is doubled at lower outside of upper loop. The reverse C3f has a (medium) IV S mint mark set high and repunched with short vertical spike extending downwards from middle of top loop opening and curved line in middle inside of lower loop opening.
