The Vam 65 is a rare variety and is a difficult variety to find. This 1881 S Morgan Dollar offers a gorgeous luster, very sharp details, PCGS certified MS-63, rare Vam 65, superb eye appeal, and will make a really great coin and vam to add to your collection. Coin Grade and Details: This 1881 S Morgan Dollar is Brilliant Uncirculated PCGS MS-63 grade with a gorgeous luster, gorgeous contrast, above average strike, full hairline, full breast feathers, bold and clear lettering and date, no rim dings or dents, superb eye appeal, and difficult to find rare Vam 65 variety. This coin is grade certified by PCGS MS-63 Label # 7130.63/14636127 and comes in a sealed plastic slabbed case. Vam Description: 1881-S VAM-65 Obverse III2 37 - Reverse C3a (Tripled Right Stars, Spike in 8) (186) I-2 interesting and R-5 rare variety. The obverse III2 37 - Very slightly tripled right stars towards rim with some left stars very slightly doubled/tripled. The left 8 has a short die chip inside upper loop at 11 o'clock and the right 8 has some die flakes in loops. The C3a reverse has a Medium IV S mint mark centered and upright.
