In accordance with eBay's new policy regarding payment acceptance, Sydney's Collectibles accepts payment through PayPal when shipping to a confirmed address as well as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. 

All CT residents  will be charged state sales tax on collectible items and jewelry at the time of checkout.  Numismatic items are exempt from sales tax.

Payment must be received within 7 days of the close of auction. If payment isn't received within 7 days, the purchase will be revoked and a Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed.  We do understand that certain situations do come up and we are willing to work with you provided that you communicate with us.

Sydney's Collectibles accepts returns according to the following policies:

Third Party Graded and Raw Coins are returnable for a full refund less shipping charges paid by the customer or actual shipping charges incurred by Sydney's Collectibles on orders with Free Shipping.

Government packaged Proof & Mint Sets, Commemorative Sets, and Proof Silver Eagles are returnable for an even exchange or store credit.

Bullion related items are not returnable for refund due to volatility in the precious metals market.  We will purchase them back at current market value.

All other collectibles are returnable for a full refund less shipping charges paid by the customer or actual shipping charges incurred by Sydney's Collectibles on orders with Free Shipping.

Please contact us if you receive damaged merchandise so we may initiate the claim process.

Please ask questions prior to bidding to request an exemption from any of the above policies. 

Sydney's Collectibles is the owner of the goods until such time as a sale is completed  and payment is received. The goods are shipped to the buyer (FOB) Free On Board from Branford, CT.  The buyer assumes all risk of loss or damage once the item is in the possession of the carrier.  Insurance is highly recommended for items valued at over $100.00

Sydney's Collectibles has used its best efforts to inspect the item(s) for sale and create descriptions and furnish photographs that fairly and adequately depict the type, condition and image of the goods at the time of sale. 

Sydney's Collectilbes grades coins based on ANA accepted standards using the Sheldon scale, Photograde, and The Guide To Grading Coins by PCGS.  Eric Pepper is a graduate of the ANA's School of Numismatics and has completed the course Grading Coins with Highest Honors, Grading Mint State Coins with Highest Honors, and detecting Counterfeit Coins with High Honors.

Sydney's Collectibles makes no express or implied warranties or representations regarding the condition or suitability of the goods and to the extent allowed by law, specifically disclaims any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for purpose.  Return policies are in place as grading is subjective.  No additional compensation will be extended based on a disagreement over grading of raw coins.  Third-party coins can be resubmitted to the appropriate agency for a re-grade or grading guarantee.

Sydney's Collectibles reserves the right to cancel bids on any item due to feedback, recent bid retractions, or from International customers where delivery of said item constitutes a violation of law.

Packages are usually shipped within 48 hours of payment receipt (excluding Saturday/Sunday)

Shipping costs for all orders can be determined by the shipping calculator in this auction. All orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS.   Choice of carrier is at our discretion.  Many of our listings include free shipping to the Continental US.  We offer shipping discounts to Alaska, Hawaii, and International destinations on our free shipping promotions within the lower 48. 

When there is a shipping charge associated with an item, we also combine shipping on multiple item purchases.  Please wait for us to issue a combined invoice prior to making payment.  We will allow up to a week for combining your purchases for shipping purposes, but you must communicate with us, so that the Non-Paying Bidder Alert is not filed.

International buyers must request a shipping quote on numismatic related material, precious metals, and currency.  Many countries have restrictions on what can be imported through customs.  We will not under any circumstances file a false customs report.  Please don't ask.  Please be aware that you may incur a brokerage and/or customs fee upon delivery.  These charges are your responsibility.   We only ship numismatic material by Priority International with insurance.  The buyer is responsible for shipping charges. We reserve the right to choose carrier based on shipping method selected at time of payment.  For our Die-Cast promotions, we offer free worldwide shipping on most items.  Insurance is required and must be purchased at checkout.

For small collectible items valued and less than $50 and weighing 4 pounds or less, we will ship First Class International.  Buyer acknowledges that by choosing this method of delivery, they assume all risk of loss or damage to items while in transit and hold Sydney's Collectibles harmless for non-delivery, damage, or loss.  Prior to shipping by this method, buyer will acknowledge email sent by Sydney's Collectibles agreeing not to issue a chargeback with Paypal for loss, damage, or non-delivery. 

While we do combine shipping, please note that they may arrive in separate packages.  Tracking numbers will be provided for all shipments through automated email.
