You are bidding on a Brilliant Uncirculated MS-60+ 1882 O/S Morgan Silver Dollar with Top 100 VAM 5 "EDS" (Doubled 82, Open 2, O/S Broken) URS-5 rarity extremely rare early die state, I-5 highest interest, and L-5 liquidity factors. The Vam 5 "EDS" is an extremely rare variety URS-5 with only 9 to 16 known to exist see Bower's Universal Rarity Scale below. At MS-60+ grade this 1882 O/S Early Die State maybe one of the best known specimens. This Top 100 Vam 5 "EDS" has an I-5 highest interest to collectors, making this coin very highly desirable to collect. This coin has an L-5 liquidity factor and is the highest which means this coin will sell for above listed value or for a premium. This 1882 O/S has a beautiful luster, sharp details, superb eye appeal, extremely rare Vam 5 "EDS", and will make an incredible addition to any collection. Coin Grade and Details: This Morgan Dollar is Brilliant Uncirculated MS-60+ grade with a beautiful luster, sharp details, above average strike, full hairline, full breast feathers, bold and clear lettering and date, superb eye appeal, and very highly desired and extremely rare Top 100 Vam 5 "EDS" Doubled 82, Open 2, O/S Broken variety. Vam Description 1882 O/S Early Die State: 1882-O Top 100 VAM-5 "EDS" Doubled 82, Open 2, (O/S Broken) Vam 5 Obverse III2 5 - Reverse C3d (Doubled 82, Open 2, O/S Broken) (181) I-5 highest interest, URS-5 Extremely Rare, and L-5 highest liquidity. The obverse III2 5 the second 8 doubled on left side of loop. The 2 is doubled faintly at very top outside. There is a die chip between loops on left side of first 8 with polishing marks inside ear and open 2. The reverse C3d there is an O over S variety with the center shaft of the S broken within the O. There are small dots of metal all over eagle and wreath. This coin is an Earlier Die State "EDS" variety and the S mint mark shows as a triangular dot at left side of loop opening and as a fine line in the middle. The Early Die State "EDS" Vam 5 is much more rare and desirable than the late die states.
