Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to offer this week, from an outstanding private collection, a rare antique 1882 CDV photo of a Bulgarian officer in Russian-made Principality Bulgaria uniform with epaulettes and a Cossack sword. During the reign of Prince Alexander I Battenberg (1879-1886), the Bulgarian army was dressed in Russian uniforms. Photographed in Pleven.

Condition: very good with traces of age.

Measures: 4 1/4" x 2 5/8"
