Vam Description: 1884-P 1884-P VAM-4 Small Dot Vam 4 Obverse III2 4 - Reverse C3b (Small Dot) (189) I-5 highest Interest, L-5 Highest Liquidity, and URS-7 Very Rare Variety at MS-64 grade Cherrypickers guide Id# FS-$1-1884-004 page 328. The obverse III2 3 has a small dot after engraver's initial M. The date is set further right than normal.  The reverse C3b has a small dot next to the engraver's initial M in bow. The Dot is in slightly different position than VAM-3. The VAM-4 Small Dot shows a small dot near Morgan's designer's initial M at the base of Liberty's neck.
