This is a Classic Vintage Style Sports Poster, originally Published in 1886. This Poster shows a baseball game in progress before a crowded grandstand at St. George park on Staten Island, with a view of New York harbor in the background.

The caption reads: "St. George - 20 Minutes from the Battery - Staten Island - Beautiful Grounds - Easy of Access - Baseball and Lacrosse every afternoon - Restaurant by Purssell - Seventh Regiment Band - Fairyland Concerts every evening - Water Fireworks - Illuminated Geysers - A Breath of Fresh Air for 10 cents - A delightful sail down the bay - Day and Evening Attractions".

This poster, which evokes the vivid images of a simpler time, is a custom reproduction printed on 68lb Heavyweight Japanese Matte Art Paper using Ultrachrome inks. Suitable for framing, mounting or direct display, this print has a colorfast life of 125+ years.
