DETROIT HALL OF FAME OUTFIELDER / MANAGER - DARK BOLD IMAGE

This auction is for a 1887 Old Judge N172 vintage tobacco baseball card of the Detroit Wolverines Hall Of Fame Outfielder / Manager - Ned Hanlon. New played 13 seasons in the big leagues but got enshrined in Cooperstown for winning 5 N.L. Pennants over the course of 7 years for the 1890s Baltimore Orioles and Brooklyn Superbas. This 19th Century card of Ned is in very nice collectible condition being well centered with a gorgeous dark image against a stadium backdrop and strong overall eye appeal. It does have slightly rounded corners, a corner chip in the upper right corner and diagonal line wrinkles in the upper corners one of which appears faintly on the back. The back also has a small bottom edge wrinkle and is slightly dirty or discolored. It has been professionally graded by Sportscard Guaranty an SGC 20 or FAIR 1.5 with far superior eye appeal.
