This very hard to find Victorian childs Nursery Rhyme Plate measures just over 7".
The nursery rhyme is Hey Diddle Diddle. This was made in Staffordshire, England circa 1888.

The plate is marked W & Co., Nursery Rhymes, Hanley, Rd. No. 103739. This was made by Whittaker and Co. of Hanley, Staffordshire as part of the Nursery Rhymes series.
The plate displays great despite 4 flakes on the rim. Otherwise shows only normal use. The transfer pattern is lovely in a rich chocolate brown. No cracks. This is a very charming antique childs plate that displays beautifully. A great addition to your collection!
