1888 Religious Portrait Engraving of Pope Leo XIII

Here is a large portrait engraving of Pope Leo XIII. He was the 257th Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, reigning from 1878 to 1903. He was also the oldest Pope, dying at the age of 93.

Under the engraving, it says "Engraved by T. Johnson. It has the printed signature of Pope Leo under the engraving, and it says "From a photograph of a painting by Lenbach, in Munich".

In the bottom left corner, it says "The Century Gallery of One Hundred Portraits ~ Leo XIII: Plate XXXII ~ Copyright 1888, by The Century Co."

The overall size is 9 11/16" x 13 1/2". The printed area (including words) measures 7 3/4" high x 5 1/8" wide. The heavyweight paper is in rather sad condition around the outside edges. It has creases and tears and discolorations. It could be cut down to be framed, with no problems showing. It is blank on the back side.
