This 1889 antique print is a page from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper and is titled "Illinois - The Recent Fair Of The American Horse Show Association of Chicago In The Exposition Building - Some Of The Features Of The Great Exposition."  From left to right and top to bottom are identified in captions, (1)Tally - Ho of PotterPalmer, (2)Carriage of Samuel Allerton, (3) C.R. Cummings, President, (4)Contrasts, (5)E.C. Lewis, Secretary, (6)The Amphitheatre, (7)The Jumping Mule, (8)A Competitor For The Lady Equestrian Prize, (9)Champion High Jumper. These are nice illustrations with good detail, there are 4 small edge tears at the bottom edge, only 1 extending into the title text and all have been repaired with acid free archival book repair tape and are not very noticeable, a great vintage equestrian print for framing.
