1890-1920 Warranted Staffordshire Blue Willow 9" Plate

What a Great Item for your Collection!

This is a beautiful 9” Plate done in blues and whites in wonderful scenery with water, trees and birds.

The plate has the Transfer mark on the back of the plate that says:

Warranted

Staffordshire

W.A.&Son

England

Through research, we found the pattern and the transfer marks to be between the ages of 1890 and 1920.

The pattern is called “Blue Willow” as far as we could tell.

The plate has scalloped edges and is 9” around.

The back of the plate has a lot of staining on it as you can see in the picture.

I have tried to clean it a few times with no luck getting the stains off.

There are 2 smaller chips located on the back of the plate as you will see in 1 of the pictures.

There is crazing on both the front and back of the plate.

The close up picture looks like there is something on the plate and that is not the case, the glare from the lights transferred into the picture. There is no mark on the birds.

There are a few hairline stress cracks along the edges on the back. You do not see them looking at the front and I could not get them to show in the pictures.
