You are bidding on a really beautiful MS-63 1890 S Morgan Silver Dollar with Vam 31 (Tripled S, Far Date) I-3 higher interest and R-5 rarity rare variety.  The Vam 31 is a more interesting rare variety and is more desirable and difficult variety to find.  This 1890 S Morgan Dollar offers a very beautiful luster, very sharp details, superb eye appeal, better Vam 31, and will make a really great addition to your collection.         

 

Coin Grade: This 1890 S Morgan Dollar is Brilliant Uncirculated MS-63 grade with a beautiful luster, beautiful contrast, gorgeous reverse, very sharp details, above average strike, full hairline, full breast feathers, bold and clear lettering and date, no rim dings or dents, superb eye appeal, and more interesting rare difficult to find Vam 31 Tripled S, Far Date variety.  

Vam Description: 1890-S VAM-31 Tripled S, Far Date Discovered by C. Logan McKechnie August 2006.  Vam 31 Obverse III23 · C3p (Tripled S, Far Date) (191) I-3 more interesting and R-5 rare variety.  The obverse III23 – Slightly doubled nose, upper lip and chin. The reverse C3p– IV S mint mark tripled with doubled top outside, curved bar at lower inside of upper loop and curved line at top inside of lower loop. Reference: The update to Encyclopedia of Morgan and Peace Dollar 4th edition by Leroy C.
