1890's CRISP UNUSED QUILTED CHIMNEY SWEEP QUILT

This cotton american Chimney Sweep quilt is a graphic and visual vintage beauty, and is hand pieced, and hand sewn and the binding is machine sewn.. The pattern is completely hand sewn. This quilt is made with fabrics from the 1890's.
MEASUREMENTS: It measures a generous 81" x 69".
CONDITION: is in good unwashed condition, and has no wear, no rips, no fabric splitting or fading but is in as found attic condition and could use a soaking. I am sure the water staining and old age oxidation storage spots will come out with its first wash. The stitching throughout are at 10 stitches per inch. The stitches are precise and consistent. This quilt is a wonderful sewn together work of art. The quilter put a lot of thought into the selections of materials to give the quilt a great visual look.
