1892 Marshall Field Christmas Toy Catalog

This is a highly detailed and accurate reproduction of a heavily illustrated 1892 Christmas toy catalog. Most of the illustrations are fine engravings, and the toys are great. Marshall Field is still one of the best-known department store in Chicago. At the time this catalog was published Field's was the most famous store in the Midwest. Many of the toys shown in this catalog are now valuable collectables.

As well as being a retail store, Field also sold wholesale to smaller stores across the midwest. This reproduction catalog is comprised of all the toy pages from the 1892 Marshall Field Holiday wholesale catalog.

We have digitally reproduced and restored our original 70 pages at an extremely high resolution. The pages are printed on a heavy gloss paper reminiscent of the original. This is not a photocopy - our methods allow us to retain an unusual image clarity and depth of detail, and the colors are accurately shown. Its true spiral binding, unlike a comb binding, allows this book to remain unharmed when left open at the desired place. Heavy clear vinyl covers protect the front and back, and the cover image is reproduced on an even heavier weight paper than the inside pages.
