You are bidding on an EXCELLENT condition, beautiful color lithographic map that comes from a U.S. Geological Survey Publication about BAYS published in 1893. The details of these etchings are unbelieveable! I scanned image on high resolution, but it still doesn't show the detail as finely as it is on original. I will be happy to send the image file so you can see the scan in greater detail.

Much of the area shown on this map is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Also shows detail of the bay, with all the depth soundings and some approximate depth contours. A very nice collectible for someone interested in MASSACHUSETTS History. I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER MAP OF CHATHAM Island / Harbor on auction. UNBELIEVEABLE how sparsely populated this area was.

ALL OF THESE MAPS ARE IN IMPECCABLE CONDITION, in like new condition with absolutely no tears, folds, NO foxing, toning or anything -- UNBELIEVEABLE CONDITION for a 116 year old print item.
