1894 Victorian Iron HEAT GRATE Register Vent Cover 9x12

Description

This is a nice Victorian heat grate. It is solid iron. It is appropriate for the wall or floor. It is signed on each louver by the original manufacturer: PAT'D JUNE 26, 1894.

Condition is excellent. No paint. No cracks. No chips. No breakage of any kind. Damper on reverse functions smoothly and perfectly via the original knob on front. Louvers open all the way and close snugly to seal out air flow. There is wear of the original shiny finish on front.

This fits an opening in the wall or floor measuring 9" by 12". The overall outside measurement is 10 5/6" by 13 3/8".
