The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this reproduction 1895 Morgan Silver Dollar Proof. Face it - you can never own a quality example of the RARE Proof 1895 Morgan for your collection. What a great way to fill the void in your set!  My husband purchased several of these for his collection and paid $50 each years ago to have them minted. Gorgeous proof examples with true SILVER content, true size, weight...minted professionally exactly as the original 1895 Proof Morgans were but about $224,050.00 cheaper! Deep mirrored fields, frosted devices, tons of pizazz with minimal marks, if any. Only color is an attractive hint of gold at very rim edge one expects to see on a quality silver morgan dollar. Please note: this coin enjoys deep mirrored fields that reflect light and make the fields look dark in the image. The coin is NOT dark but bright, white and gorgeous with mirrored fields and frosted cameos. The word "COPY" is stamped on the right wing of the eagle, reverse, small and in a way that blends in with the strike of this marvelous reproduction. Absolutely minted true to the original specifications. It is housed in an Airtite direct fit holder and will come to the winning bidder in the holder to protect it. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
