This antique print is from Leslie's Weekly May 14th 1896 and is titled "Architectural Progress in the Northwest". The image at the top is "The New City Hall, Minneapolis", at the bottom "View of the City of Minneapolis, Looking Northwest From the City Hall". In these views there is no evidence of automobiles on the streets of Minneapolis, only pedestrians, electric streetcars, and horse drawn buggies, wagons, coaches, etc. The back side of this print has an article and 2 photos of the star of the stage Miss Lillian Russell, an interesting interview relating to her carreer and her avid interest in bicyling. The size of this page is 10 1/4" x 15 1/2" and will frame nicely. An interesting piece of city history for Minneapolis, Minnesota.
