Wonderful antique wooden sewing glove repair kit case measuring 2-1/2" tall. Featuring wonderful advertising for PICCADILLY COMBINATION SEWING & NEEDLE CASE, it is marked with an assortment of instructions on how to line up the base and side numbers so that the coordinating needle would be dispensed from a tiny port on the end. Designed as a travel kit for glove repair, it originally held 20 gold and silver eye needles (including 3 latest invention self-threading needles) - with instructions on how to use the new needles; 10 pins, thimble, 2 spools of black and white thread, button to repair gloves.
