The print is a half-tone lithograph printed in 1897. The sheet measures 9 X 6 inches and is in good condition aside from light age toning and a very small tear on the left edge. The image is titled "Telescopes. 1. Dunkirk Observatory Telescope. 2. Vienna Observatory Telescope. 3. Lord Rosse's Telescope. 4. Lick Observatory Telescope. 5. Greenwich Observatory Telescope." It is inscribed "46." The print comes from "New Popular Educator" published by Cassell & Co. in London in 1897. There is nothing printed on the reverse side. The print is shown on a black background in order to show the entire sheet. This is an antique print guaranteed to be over 100 years old.
