Beautiful Brilliant Uncirculated MS-64 1897 P Morgan Dollar Top 100 VAM 6A Pitted Reverse R-6 Rarity Very Rare variety at MS-64 Grade You are bidding on a beautiful Brilliant Uncirculated MS-64 1897 P Morgan Silver Dollar Top 100 Vam 6A (Pitted Reverse) R-6 rarity very rare variety at MS-64 grade, PF:7 Popularity factor out of PF:10 possible. The Top 100 Vam 6A is a very rare variety at MS-64 grade and is a very difficult variety to find in higher grades. This 1897 P Morgan Dollar has a beautiful luster, sharp details, barely a mark, superb eye appeal, Vam 6A variety at MS-64 grade and will make a great addition to your collection. Great slabbing coin, but that is the winners decision. Important fact the higher the grade the higher the rarity of the coin. Most books do not consider grade when estimating rarity on Vam's.
Coin Grade: This coin is Brilliant Uncirculated MS-64 grade with a beautiful luster, beautiful contrast, above average strike, very sharp details, very full hairline, very full breast feathers, no rim dings or dents, bold and clear lettering and date, superb eye appeal, and very rare difficult to find at Top 100 Vam 6A Pitted Reverse at MS-64 grade. TRBcoins guarentee the Vam 6A to be correct on this coin. Vam Description: 1897 P Top 100 VAM 6A (Pitted Reverse) Popularity PF:7, R-6 very rare at MS-64 grade. The obverse III26 the date is set further left than normal. The Reverse C3a has pitting to left below the eagles’ tail feathers and in lower left wreath down toward the "D" in DOLLAR. This 1897 VAM-6A has a very distinct pitting on the reverse, because the die used to make this coin had significant rust pits in the lower portion. This pitting occurs on the Morgan reverse where the side of the anvil or bottom the die accumulates moisture and then rusts the die causing the pitting on the reverse.
