1899 & 1899-O BARBER Half Dollar's Very Nice SET L@@K!!

  This auction is for (2) 1899 Barber Half Dollars.  One is a 1899-O and the other is the regular 1899.   I found these as well as 33 others in a 150 year old house I was contracted to demo.  The coins were in a shoebox with some old sports cards sealed in plastic bags.  There were some baseball cards from as recent as 1991 so they hadn't been there extremely long.  I know VERY LITTLE if anything about old coins so I did seek the help of a local hobby shop owner to steer me in the right direction.  The coins are in cardboard and plastic cases with VF 10 wrote on the 1899-O and VG 8 on the 1899.  I was told that VF 10 and VG 8  are the grades someone along the line had assigned to the coins.  All of the coins have this and I in no way shape or form Guarantee that the grade on this coin is accurate AT ALL.  However after having the hobby shop owner examine all the coins he told me that the grading was pretty close and that they might be High 1 grade or even Low 1 grade.  Again this is not a guaranteed grade and can be used for nothing more than a general idea of the condition of the coin.  I did purchase a 2009 Price Guide and used 50% or less of book value listed for the grade given for the buy it now price.(If there is a buy it now price)   Again I don't know much but I will do everything possible to accuratlly answer any questions you may have.  I will be Useing USPS for shipping and will ship the same or next day that payment is recieved and or clears.  If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding..
