Pages are bright and supple! Tightly bound inside of gold embossed dark chocolate colored textured leather over heavy boards. 339+ sharply drawn diagrams and line cuts are found throughout this text. Depicting all sorts of mining work, methods and apparatus including: blasting techniques, square sets, cage framing, shaft timbering, rock chute clearing, charging a hole with high explosives, fuse lighting, mine car loading, log transporting, a Schranz rock breaker, mill crushing machinery, an Evans bundle, lining tunnel openings with stone, volley firing, blast charging, caving a back of ore, cribbing a Hartz jig, lots of other specific apparatus +++!
