This is a wonderful old man's jewelry stick pin with an unusual bearded male cameo. The detail is fabulous.  The previous owner was European and said that it was appraised for $400 several years ago and that it is high quality gold.  I believe it to be 18K--looking through my loupe that is what I think it says. There is a place where it was marked but I am unable to read it clearly.   It is just gorgeous.  It measures 3 inches long.  There are some tiny scuffs on the gold when I looked thru the loupe but the cameo is fabulous.

This is an amazing piece. I would date it to the turn of the century or earlier.
