When purchasing diamonds, it is always a good idea to  be educated prior to your purchase - especially online when its only you and the computer  with no sales person or diamond specialist to assist you. Here at the Engagement Kings we made it easy for you.

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades diamonds according to the four Cs:  cut, color, clarity and carat weight. The relations between the four Cs determines a diamond's value.   A diamond's value rises as its size, or carat weight increases. Likewise, the value will increase or decrease dependent upon the color, clarity and cut.

  • Carat - The carat weight determines how large and heavy the diamond is.  Usually, the larger the stone,  the more costly it is. On the top right we have a "Shop by Budget" section that will assist you with the starting point before deciding which diamond to purchase. Its all about how much you have to invest right?
  • Cut - Also refers to the shape of a diamond. The proper cut enhances a diamond's capacity to reflect light and makes it sparkle more. Diamonds come in all shapes and sizes. It depends on your personal preference.  On our main homepage we have our " Shop By Shape" section that will assist you in the search for your  desired shape.
  • Clarity - Clarity refers to the number of spots or inclusions in a diamond. Each and every natural mined from  the earth diamond has some or little inclusions. All of our diamonds are eye clean as we deal only with SI clarity diamonds and above. Feel confidant buying the highest quality the market has to offer for a lot less than your normal brick and mortar jeweler.
