This huge set of vintage oversized hardback books is titled The Practical Encyclopedia of Good Decorating and Home Improvement, issued by Greystone Press in 1970. 8x10" Red faux leather cover with gold gilt print on spine and front of cover. The books are in very good condition: several have slightly bumped corners and/or edges, table rubs, a few scratches, very  light soil, several have light scuffing and light to moderate shelf wear. Inside is clean and tight. The dust jackets have moderate shelf wear, a hole is cut out so that the volume numbers can be seen (was customary to do), several have tiny closed tears and light soil.  

These 18 marvelous books provide a practical information on home ownership and a comprehensive overview of modernist interior design and decorating with the best examples of works by the most forward thinking, leading-edge 50's, 60's and 70's American, European and Scandinavian designers and architects.
