     18c. OTTOMAN EMPIRE TURKISH WOODEN SHOES - NALINS - UNIQUE !!!

This ia an unique pair of wooden clogs , in Turkish "Nalin", of which there were many varied types. Carved exquisitely, these "Nalins" kept the bather's feet clear of the wet floor. These are with a beautiful incrustation of mother of pearl in three colors : white, red and green ; metal / silver? / line / contour / , tinsel.

Length: 22,5cm. / 9"

Height: 7 1/2 cm / 3"

         Excellent condition for its age with great patina on wood.
