1900? Couesnon & Cie. Alto Horn This is an Couesnon Alto Horn that I beleave was made around 1900, give or take a few years. At 17" tall this is a small alto which attracted me to it. The bell width is 6 1/2. The valves move well, but the slides are frozen. Even though this alto plays in it's current unrestored condition, it will need to be restored to play well. I'll let the photos tell the rest of the story. It does not have a case or mouthpiece.
I prefer Money Orders, but the high bidder can also pay by PayPal, or personal check (Must clear bank 1st). Please check out the other horns that I am listing. Good Luck!

Just to be sure - can you tell me the key of this instrument and the cornet in your auction 270163194710. Thanks

A:
This alto plays in the key of Eb. The cornet you refer to plays in Bb or A depending on which lead pipe extension that you add to it.
